Riffing off escape rooms, this immersive experience tells the real story of ‘temporary’ asylum accommodation. It’s currently touring the country, giving people a taste of what it’s like to be stuck in the UK’s broken system.

Working with Conversations Beyond Borders, every detail of the installation comes from lived experiences. From the soundscape of Far-Right protestors, to real children’s drawings, we recreated the conditions of the so-called “luxury hotels” we hear so much about. The activation is designed to challenge perceptions, build empathy and invite people to lend their support for a more humane asylum system.
